New Business Development Representative

Eljays44 is a well-established Events, Media and Publishing business based in Rustington, West Sussex and is looking for a Sales professional with proven experience in the media and events sector, to join our launch into the consumer print market. The ideal candidate is an adaptable, motivated and well-organised individual who has previous experience launching new products with an understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with clients. You will be working in a fast –paced environment and be responsible for winning business for the brand through new business development and account management.

Job type: Full-time, permanent

Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm, Fridays 8:30am – 1:30pm)

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and execute strategies to launch the brand into the market

· Maintain a strong sales pipeline through effective relationship building, call management and lead generation

· Achieve growth and hit sales targets

· Write and send effective sales proposals

· Work closely with management to ensure sales strategies are in line with business goals and marketing strategies

· Deliver a professional, high quality level of customer service to all clients

Key Requirements

· Proven track record in media sales

· Previous experience in launching products/brands to the market

· Excellent business acumen and ability to converse well with a range of clients

· Account management experience

· Experienced at working towards and exceeding targets

· Ability and understanding of writing proposals

· Experience in cold calling/telesales

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
